An iSTAR PhD studentship has been announced at the University of East Anglia: “Ocean-ice interaction in the Amundsen Sea Embayment, Antarctica”. This forms part of Ocean2ice (iSTAR A), and will focus on the interactions between the ocean and ice in the Amundsen sea, using data that will be collected on the main iSTAR science cruise taking place over the next two months, data collected using tagged seals, and other measurements from this region. The start date is October 2014; please note the imminent application deadline: 6 Jan.; interviews will take place in February.
